Ingredients For peach cobbler
- FILLING

1/4 lb1 stick butter

1 1/2 csugar

2 Tbspflour

pinch of salt

8ripe peaches, peeled and thinly sliced

1/2 cwater or brandy
- CRUST

4 Tbsp1/2 stick butter

1/2 csugar
-
1 cflour
-
1 tspbaking powder
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
1/2 cmilk or fruit juice
How To Make peach cobbler

1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees

2To prepare the filling, melt the butter in a medium size saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the sugar, flour, and salt mix well.

3Add the peaches and the water. Stir and heat thoroughly, about 5 minutes.

4Pour into a greased, deep 9 by 9 inch casserole dish and set aside.

5To prepare crust, in a medium sized mixing bowl cream the butter with the sugar, then add the flour, baking powder, salt, and milk or juice.

6Pour the batter over the peaches and bake for 1 hour or until golden brown.
