Ingredients For peach cobbler

  • 1 c
    self rising flour
  • 1 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1 dash
    cinnamon or allspice
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1 can
    peaches

How To Make peach cobbler

  • 1
    drain juice from can peaches and add water to make one cup. turn oven on 350 degrees and in a large baking dish while oven heating melt stick of butter. while oven is heating add, sugar, flour, egg, spices, cup of water/peach juice and add half of the melted butter to batter. Pour peaches in middle of dish with melted butter. bake 30 to 45 minutes depending on how deep pan is or until golden brown on top. do not cover. it will be juicy in the middle and you will think it is not done but it is. serve with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream or just by itself. you can substitute any fruit you like. very easy and fast to fix.
