Everyone in the south loves peach cobbler.i have heard of people making lazy woman's peach cobbler.This calls for one box yellow cake mix.Well since my husband isn't much on desserts and converted to half of the recipe for lazy woman's cobbler.It ia really good and has just the right amount of sweetness.

Ingredients For peach cobbler

  • 1 box
    jiffy golden yellow cake mix
  • 1
    egg
  • 1/2 c
    cold water
  • 1 lg
    can sliced peaches
  • 1 can
    sliced peaches the can is the next size down from the bigger can of peaches
  • 1/3 c
    melted margerine

How To Make peach cobbler

  • 1
    Melt margarine and pour in bottom of 2-quart casserole dish.Drain the syrup out of the small can of sliced peaches.Mix with large can of sliced peaches.Set aside.Pour cake batter into center of the melted margarine.Do not stir.Pour peaches into the center of the cake batter.DO not stir.

    I always cook mine on 350 degrees until the top is golden brown.This is really really good.Since I am a diabetic I can't have them but I love this dessert.Enjoy
