Aged balsamic vinegar is sweeter and less acidic than the regular version. You can find it in specialty stores or from mail-order gourmet retailers. It costs a little more, but its worth the splurge.

Ingredients For marinated strawberries

4 cstrawberries, fresh whole

2 Tbspaged balsamic vinegar

2 Tbspmint, fresh finely shredded

1 Tbsplemon juice

1 Tbsptruvia or other sweetner

3 cfrozen yogurt, low-fat or fat-free
How To Make marinated strawberries

1Remove stems from strawberries; halve or, if large, quarter berries lengthwise. Combine strawberries, balsamic vinegar, mint, and lemon juice in a medium bowl.

2Add up to 1T sweetner to taste preference.

3Cover and marinated in refrigerator at least 20 minutes or for up to 4 hours.

4To serve, spoon the strawberry mixture over scoops of frozen yogurt.
