mamma's peaches and cream bars
Georgia peaches are a wonderful fruit to be able to cook with and I live n the peach state. I grew up with all my realtives baking peach pies , to cobbler to hand pies and this warm goodieness makes a very big smile. These yummy bars have a creamy cheesecake & pie filling in the middle and makes a delightful site and taste, yum. Big family gatherings will make you have none of these bars left and wanting more. So make sure you add it to your table or pot lucks at church. Nothing says southern more than peaches.

Ingredients For mamma's peaches and cream bars

1 cbutter-softened

2 cgranulated sugar

4 lgeggs

1 tsppure vanilla extract

3 call purpose flour
-
1 tspkosher salt
-
1 oz21 oz peach pie filling
-
CheeseCakecheese cake center
-
1 oz(8oz) crema cheese -softened
-
1/2 cgranulated sugar
-
1 tsppure vanilla extract
-
1 lgegg
-
Glazeglaze topping
-
1/2 tsppure vanilla extract
-
1/2 tspalmond extract
-
1 cpowdered sugar
-
2 Tbspmilk ( i use almond milk)
How To Make mamma's peaches and cream bars

1(1) Cream together butter, and sugar. Add in eggs one at a time and beat well. Add in Vanilla. In a separate bowl combine flour and salt . Add to creamed mixture. Mix until well combined. (2)

2In a medium mixing bow, beat together the cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth and creamy. Add the egg and beat until combined. Set aside

3Grease a 15X10x1 baking pan ( 9x13 can be used but cooking time will be a bit longer) Spread 3 cups of batter on the bottom of pan.

4Then spread the cream cheese mix on the top of batter and then spread your peaches on the top of that cream cheese mix..

5Drop by rounded teaspoons ( i use my fingers it is easier) on top of peaches till top is filled up.

6Bake on 350" degrees F'. for 25-30 minutes. If using a 9x13 bake for for 35 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean.

7Take out of oven and let cool before adding glaze. At this point you can make your glaze and set aside

8Drizzle all over your cooled bars. Let cool completely for easier cutting. But if you can't wait scoop away.
