Another WOW recipe from pillsbury.com. Pinched this and changed it to suit my needs. Will probably make for Valentine's Day dessert. This is so EASY!

Ingredients For luscious cherry shortcake

  • 1 pkg
    (8 ct.) pillsbury grands homestyle original refrigerated biscuits
  • 2 2/3 Tbsp
    packed brown sugar
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 2 2/3 c
    whipping cream
  • 1 1/3 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 2 tsp
    sugar
  • 1/2 can
    (21 oz.) cherry pie filling

How To Make luscious cherry shortcake

    In a preheated 375-degree oven, bake the biscuits as directed on package.

    In a medium bowl, sprinkle the brown sugar over the sour cream; let stand for 2 minutes. Beat in the whipping cream on high speed until slightly thickened. Refrigerate until time to serve.

    When the biscuits are done, brush them with melted butter; sprinkle with sugar. Cool 5 minutes. Split biscuits horizontally; fill and top with pie filling and the sour cream mixture.
