How To Make jell-o mel-os

  • 1
Cut melons in half and scoop out seeds to form a clean "bowl". Scoop out as evenly as you can, the melon until there is only about a 1-inch thick layer of melon left and the "bowl" is bigger.
  • 2
Crumple a paper towel up a bit, stuff the melon "bowls", place the "bowls" upside down on more paper towels to drain more liquid out.
  • 3
Prepare Jello as directed on box (but use a little less water, about 1/4 cup. Pour half of the Jell-O into 1 half of each kind of melon (two "bowls" two kinds of melon). Put in refrigerator for Jell-O to set. (About 3 hours)
  • 4
Repeat this process using the second Jell-O and the remaining melon "bowls".
  • 5
When the Jell-O is firm, cut the Jell-O melons into wedges. Serve two wedges of different Jell-O melons on a pretty little plate or on a bed of lettuce garnished with a few berries or grapes of your liking.
