My beloved Grandma Caroline mad this every Christmas and served it warm with vanilla ice cream.Her house was so warm and smelled so good from this baking in the oven.

Ingredients For grandma's cherry crunch

  • 1 can
    cherry pie filling
  • 1 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 pkg
    white cake mix
  • 1/2 c
    chopped nuts
  • 1/2 c
    melted butter

How To Make grandma's cherry crunch

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.Spread the pie filling in the bottom of a 9x9 inch baking pan.Add lemon juice and mix well.Combine cake mix,nuts and melted butter.The mixture will be crumbly.Sprinkle over pie filling.Bake at 350 degrees for forty to fifty minutes.Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
