grandma's baked cinnamon apples

My grandmother made these great treats for us anytime we went to her house. She did all of her baking in an old cast iron wood stove, and food seem to taste a little better from that wood stove, and the smells of wood burning in the stove and food cooking and baking from that stove are still fresh in my mind today. This a a very easy recipe and, don't take long to bake. Once you taste them you'll want to come back for more: I always did.
