Ingredients For ginger pear dessert

4 mdsized, firm pears

1/4 corange juice

1/2 cgingersnap crumbs

2 Tbspsugar

2 Tbspchopped pecans

2 Tbspbutter, melted

How To Make ginger pear dessert

1Peel and core the pears. Cut them in half lengthwise.

2Place the pears, cut side up, in a buttered 11 x 7 x 1 1/2 inch baking dish. Pour the juice over the pears.

3Combine the crumbs, sugar, pecans, and butter. Sprinkle over the pears.

4Bake, uncovered, in a 350° oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until tender. Serve with half and half.
