This simple and delicious recipe can be made with any prepared pie or pudding filling. The use of a can of whole cranberry sauce is delicious too-if using your own homemade sauce or pudding 1 3/4 cups should be used.

Ingredients For fruit crunch

  • 1 c
    all purpose flour or bisquick
  • 1 c
    oatmeal, uncooked
  • 1/2 c
    firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    cold butter or margarine
  • 20 oz
    pineapple pie filling or filling of your choice-(1 3/4 cup)

How To Make fruit crunch

  • 1
    Heat oven to 350^. Grease an 8-in. square baking dish. Set aside. Combine flour, oatmeal and brown sugar. Cut in butter until crumbly.

    Place a little over 1/2 of the mixture in a greased 8-inch square baking dish.

    Cover with the pineapple or other filling. Top with remaining crumbs. Bake for 50 minutes.It must be very crisp. Serve with ice cream of whipped topping.
