This is a delicious and refreshing dessert that is super easy to make. I typically make my cream cheese pound cake as a base, but you may use a pound cake from the store or an angel food cake. It's a quick and easy recipe to make when you need a quick dessert. Enjoy!

Ingredients For fresh strawberry dessert - quick and easy

  • 1 lb
    fresh strawberries, washed and stems removed
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 2 can
    reddi whip topping
  • 8 or 9 slice
    pound cake or angel food cake (i used my cream cheese pound cake))

How To Make fresh strawberry dessert - quick and easy

    Put strawberries into a blender or food processor. Add sugar and blend on high until strawberries are pureed.

    In the bottom of a 2.75-quart baking dish, spray a layer of Reddi Whip topping. Add a layer of the cake slices to cover the bottom.

    Pour 1/2 of the strawberry puree over the cake layer and smooth with a spoon. Spray another layer of Reddi Whip, then add another layer of cake and top with remaining strawberry puree and smooth with a spoon. Spray on a final layer of Reddi Whip and smooth lightly with a spoon.

    Cover and refrigerate at least one hour before serving. You may garnish with fresh strawberry halves, if desired.
