2 ccanola oil for frying

2large ripe peaches

1 cself rising flour

1 tspsalt

3 Tbspsugar

1/2 cwhole milk

1/4 cpowdered sugar
How To Make fresh peach fritters

1In a small saucepan, heat oil over medium high heat until 350 degrees. Peel and pit peaches and slice into ½-inch slices, set aside.

2In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, sugar and cinnamon. Add butter, milk and eggs. Whisk until smooth. Dip each peach slice into batter with a fork and place gently into heated oil, 4 at a time, cooking 2 minutes. Flip over and cook 1-2 additional minutes, until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

3Serve sprinkled with sifted powdered sugar. Serves 4.
