i live alone and enjoy icecream too much, so why not try to use fresh fruit or can fruit? i used fresh nectrines pelled and sliced and put in freezer for couple hours,then put into food proessor until there are no frozen chunks,you can add vanilla but please don't think about adding sugar, thats what we are trying to get away from,every little bit helps,refreeze, and eat a little or as much as you want it's good and better for you.

  • one can
    peaches
  • 5 md
    fresh nectrines
  • 5 md
    ripe bananas
  • AMOUNTS OF FRUIT THAT I HAVE TRIED WITH MY RECEIPE

How To Make fresh or canned fruit icecream

    drain can fruit in strainer until most of syrup is gone about 10 minutes,put fruit into freezer bag and lay flat, at least 2 to 3 hrs. put into freezer container and keep frozen for another 1 hour.

    in food processor blend until there are no frozen chunks,you can add vanilla to taste usually just a splash.

    NOTE* IF YOU"RE USING FRESH FRUIT CUT INTO SERVING SIZES LAYER INTO FREEZER BAG AND PROCEED LIKE FOR CAN FRUITS.
