I was craving a warm incredible apple dessert, so I invented this rave-worthy recipe. It is also fast and easy ....YAY! PERFECT. Your whole house will smell wonderful for hours. Serve with vanilla bean ice cream if you want a proposal!

Ingredients For easy incredible rustic apple tart

  • 1 sheet
    puff pastry
  • 1 can
    apple pie filling
  • 3 tsp
    apple pie spice
  • 5 Tbsp
    melted butter, divided
  • 2 - 3 Tbsp
    turbinado sugar

How To Make easy incredible rustic apple tart

    Roll the pastry on a well-floured flexible cutting surface to 12×15 in.

    Cut the sheet in half horizontally.

    Place the apple pie filling down the center of one of the cut sheets.
  • 4
    Sprinkle half the apple pie seasoning on the apples.
  • 5
    Brush half the butter on the edges of the of pie filling sheet and the apples.

    Place the other sheet on top, stretching gently to bring edges together. Press the edges together well and fold toward the top to seal.

    Brush the remaining butter all over the edges and top of the tart. Sprinkle evenly with the remaining apple pie seasoning and all of the course sugar.

    Carefully transfer to a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper. Bake at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Your home will smell wonderful!
