I saved this recipe from my 8th grade Home Economics Class. My Mother made it several times and so have I. Easy, quick dessert. You can use any Pie Filling. And more melted butter/margarine to your liking. And you may need to bake it longer to brown on top. Or just give it a fast blast under the broiler.

Ingredients For easy fruit crumble bake

  • 21 oz
    can, cherry pie filling
  • 9 oz
    box jiffy yellow cake mix
  • 3 Tbsp
    margarine or butter

How To Make easy fruit crumble bake

  • 1
    Grease an 8 x 8 baking dish with margarine or butter.

    Place half box of dry cake mix in baking dish.
  • 3
    Top with your favorite Pie Filling. Place rest of dry cake mix over filling. Pour melted margarine or butter over top. Bake at 350 for 30 to 50 minutes or until browned on top. You can top with a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream or Whipped Topping.
