Ingredients For easy apple dumpling dessert

  • 2 can
    pillsbury crescent rolls
  • 1 c
    pecans chopped
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2
    apples, peeled and cut into 8 slices
  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • cinnamon sugar to taste

How To Make easy apple dumpling dessert

    preheat oven to 350
  • 2
    Butter a 13x9 inch baking pan. unroll crescents and wrap each slice of apple in a crescent roll and line the "dumplings" in buttered pan.

    Sprinkle brown sugar all around the dumplings in pan. In saucepan, melt butter, mix with water and vanilla. Pour water/butter mix over and around dumplings. Top with pecans and cinnamon & sugar.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and apples are tender.
