Ingredients For easy apple-cinnamon dumplings

  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    water
  • 1
    8 oz pkg refriferated crescent rolls
  • 2
    good-sized apples, peeled. cored and chopped
  • 1/4 c
    light brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    or to taste, cinnamon
  • 1/2 c
    chopped pecans

How To Make easy apple-cinnamon dumplings

    Heat oven to 375. Put butter into a 7" x 11" baking dish, place in oven until butter is melted. Remove from oven.

    In saucepan, over medium heat, cook water and sugar until sugar is melted, set aside. Unroll crescent dough onto lightly floured surface. Pinch seams together. In lg bowl, combine apples, light brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and pecans. Mix well. Spoon apple mix evenly onto dough.

    Starting at the short end of dough, roll up dough, jelly roll style. Press seam to seal. Cut into about 10 3/4"-slices. Blace in butter, in baking dish. Pour sugar, water mix over dumplings. Bake 35 mins, or until golden.
