My husband LOVES this dessert. I really enjoy making it as often as I can. Great with or without the nuts. We normally don't have ice cream in the house and it's great without the ice cream too. It's a recipe I found on the Internet that someone had for many years. I'm sure it will become one of your favorites too. Enjoy!

Ingredients For dutch apple dessert

5 mdapples, pared, cored and sliced (about 5 cups)

1 can(14oz) sweetened condensed milk

1 tspground cinnamon

1/2 ccold margarine or 1/2 cup butter plus 2 tbl cold margarine or 2tbl butter

1 1/2 cbiscuit mix
-
1/2 cbrown sugar, firmly packed
-
1/2 cchopped nuts. ( i used pecans )
How To Make dutch apple dessert

1Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

2In medium bowl, combine apples, sweetened condensed milk and cinnamon.

3In large bowl, cut 1/2 cup Butter into 1 cup Buscuit Mix until crumbly.

4Stir in Apple mixture

5Pour into greased 9-inch square baking pan.

6In small bowl, combine remaining 1/2 cup Biscuit Mix and Sugar; cut in remaining 2 TBL Butter until crumbly.

7Add Nuts.

8Sprinkle evenly over Apple Mixture.

9Bake 1 Hour or until golden brown.

10Serve warm with Ice Cream.
