when i have desserts it has to have some kind of veggie or fruit in it[jus me guess i'm strange] but anyway was lookin in freezer...had 3 kinds of berries....and i love apple crisp....sooooooo jus used berries instead of apples it is bakin as i type.....will have this for dinner tomorrow with baked chicken breast[bone in],baked beans, a tossed salad after this came out of oven and hubby could not wait til tomorrow to try it we had some tonight...and i've edited the recipe some...addin more oats and flour was kinda soupy but very good..recipe is right on now!!!!! ain't it great to have a hubby be yur food editor!!! lol

Ingredients For diane's triple berry crisp

  • 1 1/4 c
    blackberries
  • 1 1/4 c
    blueberries
  • 2 1/2 c
    strawberries
  • 2 c
    flour,divided
  • 1 1/2 c
    splenda,divided
  • 1 1/2 stick
    butter
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 pinch
    salt
  • 3 1/2 c
    old fashion oatmeal

How To Make diane's triple berry crisp

  • 1
    take fruit from freezer spray a 9x13 glass baking dish with non stick spray add to pan usin hands lightly mix and blend to evenly distribute

    mix 1/2 the splenda,1/2 the flour,pour over fruit add vanilla to pan again usin hands lightly mix together carful not to break berries up
  • 3
    add the rest of flour and splenda to med bowl add butter cut butter into flour/splenda til bout the size of peas add the salt and oatmeal and cinnomon

    sprinkle oatmeal toppin over berries bake in 350 preheated oven for 35-40 min sprinkle a little cinnomon on top after it comes out of oven

    serve with whipped toppin or ice cream enjoy!!
