I needed to use some fruit and came up with this cobbler recipe.

Wow, what a flavorful fruit cobbler recipe! With peaches, nectarines, apples, and cherries, we don't think we've ever had so many layers of fruit in one cobbler. We love the hint of cinnamon and the added crunch from the nuts. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream for great summer dessert.

Ingredients For deep summer fruit cobbler

  • 1 1/2 stick
    butter
  • 1 1/2 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    baking powder
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 md
    peaches
  • 2 md
    nectarines
  • 2 md
    apples
  • 10 oz
    frozen sweet red cherries
  • 3/4 c
    pecan pieces
  • 3/4 c
    Craisins
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • whipped cream, optional
  • whipped topping, optional
  • vanilla ice cream, optional

How To Make deep summer fruit cobbler

  • Melt butter in a baking dish.

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. While preheating, place a 9X13 baking dish with butter in the oven to melt.
  • Mix flour, sugar, milk, baking powder, and vanilla extract and pour over the melted butter.

  • Cut peaches, nectarines, apples, and cherries and add to a bowl with pecans, Craisins, and cinnamon.

  • Pour fruit over the batter and bake.
