crock pot red hot applesauce

My cousin didn't remember where she got this recipe but was happy to pass it on to me last winter. She made her's chucky, but I used my electric stick mixer/blender and made mine smooth right in the crock pot.

Ingredients For crock pot red hot applesauce

10 to 12apples, peeled, cored and chopped

3/4 chot cimmamon candies

1/3 capple juice, unsweetened
How To Make crock pot red hot applesauce

1Combine apples, candies and apple juice in a six quart crock-pot.

2Cover and cook on low heat for 7 to 8 hours or on high heat for 4 hours our until desired consistency.

3Can be made chucky or smooth as disired.

4Serve warm or chilled.
