6firm bananas, peeled and cut into quarters

1/2 cflaked coconut

1/2 tspground cinnamon

1/4 tspsalt

1/2 cdark corn syrup ( such as karo )

1/3 cmelted butter ( unsalted )

1 tspgrated lemon zest

3 Tbsplemon juice

1 tsprum ( or could use rum extract )

1/4 cchopped walnuts

french vanilla ice cream
- TO INCREASE AMOUNT OF RECIPE, ALL INGREDIANTS MAY BE DOUBLED AND USE 5, 6 OR 7 QT. CROCK-POT
How To Make crock pot candied bananas foster

1Combine the Bananas and coconut in the pot. - In a medium Bowl, combine, the cinnamon, salt, corn syrup,melted butter, lemon zest, lemon juice, rum and walnuts. Mix Well - And Pour over the Bananas and Coconut in the Crock-pot . Turn Crock-pot on LOW heat only. - Put cover on - Cook for 1 to 2 Hours. To serve - Spoon Bananas and Sauce over Individual Servings of French Vanilla Ice Cream.
