I like to make this in the summer when berries are plentiful. You can use different berries if you like but this combination taste phenominal.

Ingredients For crispy berry pudding

  • 1/2 stick
    margarine
  • 3/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar, light, firmly packed
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 3/4 c
    milk
  • 1 qt
    strawberries, fresh
  • 1 pt
    raspberries, fresh
  • 1 pt
    blueberries, fresh
  • 2/3 c
    sugar

How To Make crispy berry pudding

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place margarine in 2 quart oval casserole. Heat margarine til melted.

    Combine flour,brown sugar, baking powder and salt, Stir in milk to make a batter. Pour batter over melted margarine in casserole dish. DO NOT STIR !!!!! combine berries and sugar. Spoon the berry mixture over top of batter. DO NOT STIR!!!!!!!Place foil in oven to catch spills. Bake at 350 degree for 1 hour.
