Ingredients For crispy apple rings

1 lgegg white

1 cwater
-
1 Tbspvanilla extract

1 call purpose flour

1/4 tspsalt

6 lgapples, peeled

oil for frying

cinnamon and sugar
- FROSTING:

4 Tbspbutter, melted

1/3 csugar

1 Tbspcinnamon

2 Tbspmilk

1 to 1-1/2 cpowdered sugar
How To Make crispy apple rings

1Whisk the egg white until foamy in a medium bowl. Whisk in the water and vanilla. Add the flour and salt.

2Slice the peeled apples into 1/2" thick slices. Cut rings out of apple slices, discarding the smallest ring containing the core.

3Heat oil to 375 degrees. Dip apple rings into the batter and place into the hot oil. Fry the apples in small batches and turn frequently. Remove from oil when golden brown and place on paper towel to drain. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.

4Transfer the rings to a wire rack and place it on a baking sheet. Place in a preheated 400-degree oven for 5 - 10 minutes or until the rings turn crispy. Drizzle the frosting over the rings and serve warm.
