cranberry crunch (abt. 1964-7)

This was written into my HS notebook later -- after I had learned how to write a recipe. It sounds delicious and uses that really odd ingredient "canned cranberry sauce" -- not many recipes for that stuff LOL!!

Ingredients For cranberry crunch (abt. 1964-7)

  • 1 c
    uncooked oatmeal (regular not instant)
  • 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    butter
  • 1 can
    cranberry sauce #2 can

How To Make cranberry crunch (abt. 1964-7)

    Mix oatmeal, flour, and brown sugar
  • 2
    Cut in the butter
  • 3
    spread half of mixture in 8x8 greased and floured baking pan
  • 4
    spread cranberry sauce over this
  • 5
    top with remaining mix
  • 6
    Bake 350 for 45 minutes

    Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream
