Very similar to regular apple crisp, but with an added bit of cranberry goodness! It's very good with cinnamon ice-cream! Nuts may be omitted for those with allergies, or for personal preference.

Ingredients For cranberry-apple crisp

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 3/4 c
    fresh cranberries
  • 3 lg
    apples, peeled and chopped - about 5 cups
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1 c
    oats, quick or old-fashioned
  • 1/4 c
    chopped walnuts
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon

How To Make cranberry-apple crisp

  • 1
    Mix flour, cinnamon and sugar together in small bowl. Mix cranberries, apples and water in large bowl. Sprinkle flour mixture over fruit and stir well to combine.

    Spray 8x8 inch pan with cooking spray. Pour in fruit.

    Stir together remaining ingredients and spread evenly over the fruit. Bake half hour in 350º F oven. Serve warm with ice-cream or whipped cream.
