This recipe is one of my family's all-time favorite. Cherry Streusel is one of my most requested desserts.

Ingredients For cherry streusel

  • 3 can
    21 oz. cherry pie filling
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 2 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 1 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 c
    butter, cold(cut in pats)
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans

How To Make cherry streusel

    Preheat oven to 375*
  • 2
    In a medium sauce pan add cherry filling and sugar. Bring to simmer on low heat. Set aside.

    In a large bowl add flour, brown sugar and butter. Mix with a fork(I use my hands) until mixture is crumbly.

    In a 13x9 inch baking dish, pour in cherry filling mixture. Then evenly sprinkle streusel topping on. Lastly, sprinkle on the nuts.

    Bake for 20 minutes or until topping is golden brown and cherry filling begins to bubble.
