My sister was kind enough to share this recipe. She served this as dessert, and I just had to have the recipe. A very easy dessert to put together! Light and refreshing! A real keeper! * Made with whipping cream, not Cool Whip!!

Ingredients For cherry cheese dessert
- THE CRUST

2 cgraham cracker crumbs

1/2 cbutter, melted

1/4 csugar
- THE FILLING

8 ozcream cheese, room temperature

1 cpowdered sugar

1 cheavy whipping cream
- THE TOPPING

1 cancherry pie filling
How To Make cherry cheese dessert

1To make the crust, mix graham cracker crumbs, butter, and sugar together. Press into a 7 x 11 glass baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees, for 8 minutes. Cool crust completely. (may refrigerate while preparing filling)

2To make the filling, in a large bowl mix the cream cheese and the powdered sugar together. In another bowl, beat the heavy cream until soft peaks form.

3Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture. Then spread evenly across the graham cracker crust.

4Next, spread the cherry pie filling evenly across the top. Best if made the day before, and refrigerate overnight.

5Cut into serving size portions. Enjoy!
