The recipe did not call for oatmeal. I decided to add it. Was a hit! Husband had 2 pieces right away!!

Ingredients For caramel apple dump cake

  • 1 box
    yellow cake mix
  • 1 c
    oatmeal, uncooked
  • 1/2 c
    caramel ice cream topping
  • 12 can
    apple pie filling
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 c
    chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1 c
    butter, melted

How To Make caramel apple dump cake

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9x13 inch pan. Mix pie filling & caramel topping. Spread in pan. Mix cake mix & oatmeal. Sprinkle cake mix over filling.

    Sprinkle on pecans & drizzle butter over the top. Bake for 45 min or until golden brown & bubbly.

    Serve with cool whip or ice cream.
