Ingredients For caramel apple cheesecake bars

2 cflour

1/2 cbrown sugar

2 stickbutter, softened

2 pkgcream cheese, room temperature

1/2 cplus 2 tbs. sugar

2large eggs
-
1 tspvanilla
-
3granny smith apples(peeled, cored, and finely chopped)

1/4 tspnutmeg

1/2 tspcinnamon
-
1/2 jarcaramel ice cream topping
- STREUSEL TOPPING

1 cbrown sugar
-
1 cflour
-
1/2 coatmeal, uncooked

1 stickbutter, room temperature
How To Make caramel apple cheesecake bars

1Heat oven to 350 degrees and line a 9x13 pan with aluminum foil.

2In a medium bowl, combine flour and brown sugar; cut in butter until crumbly. Press evenly into pan and bake for 15 min or until lightly browned.

3In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time and stir in vanilla. Pour over crust.

4In a small bowl, stir together apple pieces, 2 Tbs. sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Spoon evenly over cream cheese layer.

5Streusel topping: Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and stir until well mixed. Sprinkle evenly over apple mixture.

6Bake for 30 min or until filling is set. Drizzle with caramel topping and serve. (Can also be topped by a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.)
