Ingredients For bourbon apple crisp

8 or 10 mdtart apples

1/2 csugar

2 mdlemon zest, gratedd

1 tspnutmeg

1 stalkbutter
-
1/2 ptgood kentucky bourbon

1 cflour
-
1/4 tspsalt
-
1 coldo fashioned rolled oats

1 cbrown sugar
-
1 tspground cinnamon

1/2 cwhipping cream, whipped
How To Make bourbon apple crisp

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees

2Butter a 13 x 9 x2 pan

3Fill pan with apples and sprinkle with sugar, lemon, zest, and nutmeg

4Dot with butter and drissel bourbon all over.

5Combine flour, baking powder, salt, rolled oats, brown sugar and 8 Tbl butter,1 tsp nutmeg, and cinnamon in a bowl. Mix with fingers. Pat down on apples

6Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 mins.

7Uncover and bake 20 mins more to brown top.

8Remove from oven. Cool 15 mins. Cut into squares while still warm. Put into desert dishes and put whipped cream around not on top. Can add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzle with more bourbon.
