This scrumptious southern Blueberry Cobbler is made in two easy steps with fresh or frozen blueberries and an eight ingredient flaky biscuit topping that is sprinkled lightly with sugar. The end result is the best mouthwatering good summer blueberry dessert.

    butter
  • 6 c
    blueberries
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 c
    butter
  • 1/2 c
    buttermilk
  • 1 Tbsp
    sugar

How To Make blueberry cobbler

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

    Melt butter in 9×9 inch baking dish in the oven.

    Stir together the blueberries, sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon. Spoon that into the bottom of the baking dish on top of the butter.

    Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and ground cinnamon. Using a pastry cutter cut in the butter until the mixture is crumbly. Stir in the buttermilk just until the mixture is moistened. Drop the dough by rounded spoonfuls on to the blueberries. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon sugar. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until lightly browned and bubbly.
