I made this yesterday for after dinner desert. This recipe is so easy to make and has a nice texture and taste. I found this recipe in my Gold Medal Flour Weekend Chef Cookbook.

Ingredients For blueberry buckle

1 1/4 call-purpose flour

1/2 csugar
-
1/4 cbutter or margarine softened

1/4 cshortening
-
1/3 cmilk
-
1 1/2 tspbaking powder

1 tspgrated lemon peel, if desired

1/2 tspvanilla
-
1/4 tspsalt
-
1egg
-
1 1/2 cfresh or forzen blueberries (thawed and well drained)
- CRUMB TOPPING

1/2 csugar
-
1/3 call-purpose flour
-
1/4 cbutter or margarine, softened

1/2 tspground cinnamon

mix all topping ingredients till crumbly
How To Make blueberry buckle

1Mix all ingredients except blueberries and topping. Spread in ungreased 8x8x2 pan. Sprinkle with blueberries and topping.

2Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
