blackberry crisp
This recipe is similar to my mother's Apple Crisp and just as tasty. It is so much easier than baking a pie, in my opinion Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream would be a welcome addition, though it is wonderful on its own.

1 canblackberry pie filling

1/2 cquick cooking oats

1/2 call purpose flour

1 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1 Tbspgranulated sugar

1/2 cbutter, softened

3/4 tspground cinnamon

3/4 tspground nutmeg
How To Make blackberry crisp

1Lightly grease a regular sized loaf pan and empty the blackberry pie filling into the pan.

2In a large bowl, mix together the flour, brown sugar, oats, granulated sugar, butter, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir until completely combined.

3Sprinkle the flour mixture evenly over the pie filling.

4Bake uncovered in a 375° oven for 30 to 35 minutes, until the topping is a golden brown.
