Crockpot Recipe.This recipe was given to me by a friend in Pa. who is diabetic. I have made it many times for my sister and her family. It is very good.

- CRUST

1 cflour

six Tbspsugar

3 Tbspsugar substitute

1 tspbaking powder

1/4 tspsalt

1/4 tspcinnamon

1/4 tspnutmeg

2 lgeggs, beaten

2 Tbspmilk
-
2 Tbspvegetable oil
- FILLING

2 cblueberries, fresh or frozen

2 cblackberries, fresh or frozen

3/4 cwater
-
1 tspgrated orange peel
-
six Tbspsugar
-
3 Tbspsugar substitute
How To Make black and blue cobbler.....diabetic friendly

1crust: Combine flour, six T sugar,sugar substitute, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Combine eggs, milk, and oil. Stir into dry ingredients until well moistened. Spread the batter evenly over the bottom of a greased 5 quart crock pot.

2In saucepan, combine berries, water, orange peel, six T sugar,and sugar substitute. Bring o a boil. Remove from hea and pour over batter.

3Cook on high for 2 to 2 and a half hours, or until a toothpick inserted into batter comes out clean. Turn off crosk pot. Uncover and let stand for 30 minutes before serving. Spoon from crockpot and serve with non fat whipped topping or ice cream if desired.
