Ingredients For banana torte

1 1/2 cegg whites (about 12 eggs, save yokes for something else)

3/4 tspcream of tarter

1/2 tspalmond flavoring
-
1 1/2 csugar
-
1 1/2 cbrown sugar
-
3 cgraham cracker crumbs
-
3/4 cnuts - i like pecans but walnuts work just as well

3 tspvanilla extract
-
3 to 4 bananas
How To Make banana torte

1Have egg whites at room temp. Add cream of tarter to egg whites and beat at high speed until soft peaks form.

2Mix sugars together and add gradually to egg white mixture. Beat egg mix until glossy & white (about 5 minutes) Add vanilla & Almond extracts and mix well. Remove from mixer.

3Combine graham cracker crumbs and nuts. Sprinkle over beaten egg and fold in gradually (1/4 mix at time).

4Grease 2 cake pans heavely with shortening, pour mix equally into both pans. Bake at 350 Degrees for 50 minutes.

5Remove from pan to cool. Place a layer of bananas on top & cover with whipped cream, decorate with cherries & nuts.
