Ingredients For banana split cake

1 boxvanilla wafers cookies

1 1/2 stickmargarine or un-salted butter, melted

2 Tbspgranulated sugar

1 boxpowdered (confectioners) sugar

1/2 tspvanilla

2eggs
-
2 to 3bananas

1 large cancrushed pineapple, drained well

9 ozcool whip

1 small jarmarachino cherries, drained well

3/4 cpecans, chopped
How To Make banana split cake

1Crust: Mix together the first 3 ingredients and press into the bottom of a 9 X 13 glass dish.

2Filling: Beat together, for 15 minutes, the next 4 ingredients. Spread the filling over the wafer crust. Slice the bananas and place on top of the filling. Next, spread the can of drained pineapple.Spread the container of Cool Whip over the pineapple. Sprinkle over the top the chopped pecans. Top with the jar of cherries. Refrigerate.

3Graham cracker may be substituted in place of the wafers. Additional options: flaked coconut, caramel and/or chocolate ice cream toppings.
