Ingredients For baked pears and apricots

  • 2 md
    ripe bosc pears , peeled halved lenghtwised and cored , or apricot seeded and halved
  • 1 Tbsp
    granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp
    unsalted butter
  • 1/2 c
    pear juice
  • 3
    sugar-free ginger cookies

How To Make baked pears and apricots

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 375 F. Place pear halves, cavity-side up, in a lgass baking dish or ramekin.: do not crowd. Combine sugar and sinnamon in small bowl: sprinkle over pears and apricots. Place 1/2 teaspoon butter in each per and apricot cavity. Pour pear juice into dish.

    Bake fruit 30 minutes, basting after 15 minutes. Remove from oven sprinkle with crushed gingersnaps. Returnto oven and bake 10 minutes.
