Ingredients For apple walnut crostata

cooking spray

6 to 7 eastern jonagold apples, peeled, cored and sliced

1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

1/3 cup chopped walnuts

1/4 cup flour
-
dash vanilla extract
-
1 refrigerated readymade piecrust

2 tbsp. butter, cut into pieces
How To Make apple walnut crostata

1Preheat oven to 350. Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray and set aside. Put apples, brown sugar, walnuts, flour land vanilla extract in large mixing bowl. Toss well. Put piecrust on baking sheet. Spoon apple mixture into center of piecrust and fold up edges of pastry to capture apples and juices, leaving apples exposed in center. Dot with butter. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Makes 8 servings Cooking the Costco Way
