A tasty little recipe that's made quicker by the use of canned pie filling. I haven't tried it using fresh apples, but I'm guessing you'd just have to make sure you adjust the baking time to fit. I'd love to hear how it works if you do that!

Ingredients For apple streusel cobbler

1 canapple pie filling (i used wilderness more fruit)

1/2 cchopped nuts (i used pecans, but walnuts are good, too)

1/2 coats, quick or regular

2eggs
-
1/4butter or margarine, melted

1/2 tspground cinnamon

1/4 tspground nutmeg
-
1/2 cfirmly packed light brown sugar

1/2 cunsifted flour
-
1/4 ccold butter or margarine
-
1 can14 oz. sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
How To Make apple streusel cobbler

1Heat oven to 375 F. Spread apple pie filling in greased 9-inch square baking pan.

2In medium bowl, beat eggs. Add sweetened condensed milk, melted butter, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix well. Pour over apple filling.

3In medium bowl, combine sugar and flour; cut in cold butter until crumbly. Add nuts and oats. Sprinkle over mixture in pan.

4Bake 50-55 minutes or until set. Cool. You can serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream, if desired. Refrigerate leftovers.
