Ingredients For apple shortcake
- SHORTCAKE:

1 pkg(7 ounce) apple cinnamon muffin mix
-
1/2 cmilk
-
1/4 csour cream
-
1/4-1/3 cchopped pecans, optional
- APPLE CINNAMON TOPPING:
-
1 can(20 ounces) apple pie filling
-
1/2 csugar, more or less as desired
-
1/4 ccraisins or raisins
-
1/4 cwater
-
1/2-1 tspcinnamon
How To Make apple shortcake

1TO MAKE SHORTCAKE: Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Grease and flour a 9 inch square baking pan. Stir together muffin mix, milk, sour cream, and pecans. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick insertd in center comes out clean. Cool completely and then cut into 6-9 squares depending on serving size desired.

2TO MAKE TOPPING: In a saucepan over medium heat combine pie filling, sugar, craisins or raisins, water, and cinnamon. Stir until well mixed and hot. Serve over shortcakes with ice cream or whipped topping if desired.
