These are great anytime. I like to make them in the Autumn and serve with hot spiced cider. Everyone who has tried these always ask for more and or the recipe..which is so simple.

Ingredients For apple nut crunch

1 1/3 cpeeled, chopped, tart apples

1/3 cwalnuts, chopped

1/3 craisins
-
1/2 csugar, divided

2 tspground cinnamon, divided

2 Tbspall purpose flour
-
1 pinchground cloves
-
2 tspbutter, melted
-
1 pkgrefrigerated large flaky biscuits (17.3 oz)
How To Make apple nut crunch

1Preheat oven to 350^ In a large microwave safe bowl add apples,walnuts,raisins,3 T. Sugar,3/4 tsp. cinnamon, cloves,and flour. mix, nuke 1 minute. Stir and nuke another 2 minutes.

2Flatten each biscuit into a 5" circle. Add remaining cinnamon and sugar together. Sprinkle circles. Top with 1/4 c. of apple mixture. Bring edges or biscuit up to enclose mixture; pinch edges to seal.

3Place seam side down in ungreased muffin pan. Brush tops with melted butter; sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mix. With a sharp knife cut an X in the top of each.

4Bake for .18-20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool a few minutes before removing to a wire rack
