By far one of the simplest apple recipes ever! Oh! and the flavor is just over the top! I shared this recipe with my friends on Facebook last year, and everyone loved it! So, I thought I would share it with y'all. Enjoy!

Ingredients For apple dumplings

  • 2
    granny smith apples, peeled, cored & quartered
  • 1 can
    refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 c
    orange juice
  • 1 c
    sugar or splenda
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract

How To Make apple dumplings

    Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Simmer together in a small saucepan orange juice, sugar, butter & vanilla until warm. Separate rolls. Roll each apple quarter in a crescent roll and place in 13 x 9 baking dish. Pour orange juice mixture over all of it. Bake for 40 minutes. Enjoy!

    Note: It would seem that there is too much liquid when you pour it in the pan prior to baking; trust me, it will be fine!
