8 lgcrisp tart apples like granny smith or honey crisp (peeled, cored, and cubed)

½ cbrown sugar

2 Tbsp2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 Tbspall-purpose flour

1 cold-fashioned rolled oats

1 call-purpose flour

1 cupbrown sugar

1/2 cunsalted butter melted
How To Make apple crumble

1Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Grease a 9×9 inch baking dish or equivalent.

2First in a large bowl combine the apples, brown sugar, lemon juice, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir gently to combine and then spoon the apple mixture into the prepared baking dish in an even layer.

3In a medium bowl stir together the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Slowly stir in the melted butter with a fork until crumbly. Sprinkle the mixture over the apples.

4Bake in a preheated oven for about 45 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown. If the mixture browns too fast simply cover with a loose piece of aluminum foil. Let the dish sit for 15-20 minutes before serving.
