This is a great way to use those Fall apples from apple picking trips! Serve it with vanilla ice cream-yum!

Ingredients For apple crisp

  • 8-10
    apples such as macintosh or macoun, peeled, seeded, and quartered
  • 1
    stick of butter, softened
  • 1 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    white sugar
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 c
    oats, uncooked
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon, ground
  • 1/2 tsp
    nutmeg

How To Make apple crisp

  • 1
    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. grease or spray a brownie pan size pan. Place the apples in the pan.

    Sprinkle the crumb mixture topping evenly over the apples. Bake for about 1 hour or until nicely browned and bubbly on the sides.
