Ingredients For apple crisp

  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    old fashioned oats
  • 2 Tbsp
    margarine, softened
  • 1 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 5 c
    peeled, sliced, red apples (about 5 apples)

How To Make apple crisp

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Coat a 13 x 9" pan with cooking spray.

    In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, oats, margarine, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla. Blend with fork until moistened (mixture should be crumbly).

    Layer apples in pan ad sprinkle brown sugar mixture evenly over top. Bake 30 minutes.
