This was from a potluck dinner I attended back in 1978. Unfortunately, I don't remember who gave me the recipe.

Ingredients For apple cheese crisp

4 capples (johnathan, rome, or granny smith)

1 cflour

1/2 cbutter, room temperature

1 Tbspwater

1/2 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1 ccheddar cheese, shredded

1/2 tsplemon juice, fresh

1/4 tspcinnamon, ground
How To Make apple cheese crisp

1Mix water and lemon juice in an 8x8 baking pan. Arrange sliced apples in the dish

2In a small mixing bowl combine flour, sugar, cinnamon. Cut butter into the mixture until crumbly. Toss shredded cheddar cheese in the mixture.

3Sprinkle mixture over the apples and bake for 30 minutes @ 350F (until topping is brown and crispy)
