10baking apples, pared, cored and sliced

2 tspcinnamon

1 1/4 cflour

3/4 cbrown sugar

1 stickbutter, no substitues
- SYRUP

2/3 cbrown sugar

1/4 chot water

1/2lemon, juiced
How To Make apple brown betty

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees

2Arrange slices in the bottom of a 9X12 inch baking pan

3Sprinkle with cinnamon

4Mix flour and brown sugar together. Cut in butter until crumbly and set aside

5SYRUP: Combine the ingredients for syrup and stir until well blended.

6Drizzle half of the syrup over the apples.

7Top with butter crumb mixture and pour the remaining syrup on top.

8Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
