warm & creamy orange rice pudding
This recipe and photo came to me from my local Kroger store. I have developed a love affair with rice pudding of late, especially since discovering so many new variations on the original. This one sounds so delicious and soothing as a comfort food. You gotta try it!

Ingredients For warm & creamy orange rice pudding

1 cwater

2 tspvanilla extract

1 tspground ginger

2 Tbspsugar

1 carborio rice

1 Tbsporange zest

2 clow fat milk

1/4 corange segments
How To Make warm & creamy orange rice pudding

1Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan; add vanilla, ginger, sugar, and rice.

2Lower heat and allow rice to absorb liquid, stirring as needed, about 10 minutes.

3When most of the liquid is absorbed, add the orange zest and 1 cup of the milk. Allow the rice to absorb the liquid and then add the other 1 cup milk.

4Continue cooking until all liquid is absorbed and rice is fully cooked.

5Serve warm in individual bowls, each topped with an orange segment.
